德弗札克 b小調大提琴協奏曲 Dvorak Cello Concerto in B minor
昨天Vivian的大提琴老師舉行了學生獨奏會，我把Vivian的演奏錄了下來。這是我最喜愛的德弗札克b小調大提琴協奏曲。除了一兩個莫名其妙的錯誤還有幾個音不太凖確以外，拉得還算可以，希望你會喜歡。 注意到了她的穿著嗎？長裙，沒穿開釦的襯衫，也沒穿涼鞋。。。
Vivian played my all time favoriate Dvorak cello concerto! This was recorded yesterday during the studio recital of her cello teacher. I like the way she played except for a couple of out-of-the-blue mistakes and some intonation problems. Hope you like it too. Have you noticed her outfit? No button up shirt, no pants, no open-toe shoes...

Wow.... it is really great. I listened to it twice... Started to enjoy it the second time.... What is the music about? Under what circumstance did Dvorak write this concerto?

I can't find any indication on the web about why he composed this concerto. But they all said that he wrote it for his cellist friend, Hans Wihan. In a way it reminds me of the New World Symphony. I can feel the pastoral, a sense of longing, sadness, anger, excitement, and happiness, all in this piece. Again, this is my all time favorite!
